Dale Schattenkirk
Dale has worked with Health Organizations and Systems across Canada, the USA, and the United Kingdom in designing and supporting full system transformation, Quality Management programs, strategic planning, leadership training, organization-wide change management, and performance improvement programs at the local, provincial, and federal levels.
While working within the Saskatchewan Health system and creating the provincial Lean program, Dale and his team were awarded the Lieutenant Governor’s Award of the Saskatchewan Regional group by the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC), for the implementation of Lean in Saskatchewan healthcare. Prior to joining The Poirier Group, Dale was a Partner for 8 years at KPMG leading the regional Quality Improvement practice and before that founded Learning to See Consulting, a boutique consultancy firm focused exclusively on Lean Six Sigma process improvement in healthcare and other government-based services.
He has helped three Canadian provinces implement full-scale health system transformation. He has also worked in over 200 LTC homes, countless physician offices, home care, mental health services, and public health systems. Dale is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), PROSCI Certified, and holds a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (Ohio State).
