Purpose Beyond Profit

Our Purpose Beyond Profit initiative works to leverage our unique business and operational skill sets to support our community in a sustainable way. Every year, we donate a portion of consulting hours to not-for-profit organizations that support marginalized and vulnerable groups. We provide in-kind service expertise that dramatically impacts their operations and ability to serve those who depend on them.

Through Purpose Beyond Profit, The Poirier Group comes together for the good of the community

In 2022, The Poirier Group was recognized for Excellence in Community Service using Specialized Skills. The Communitas Awards recognizes exceptional businesses, organizations and individuals that give of themselves and their resources, and those that change how they do business to benefit their communities. 

Communitas winners are recognized for specific programs involving volunteerism, philanthropy and ethical, sustainable business practices. 

NON-PROFIT STRATEGY CONSULTING

The Poirier Group is proud to be one of Toronto’s premier consulting firms. Our team has years of experience providing sustainable management strategies to charities, non-profits, corporate citizens, and social enterprises. We execute growth strategies and internal strategies that seek to grow our non-profit partners’ scope and ability to help marginalized communities. Our initiative eliminates the financial barrier to accessing consulting services, providing them the services they need but often don’t have access to. As we improve the effectiveness and strategic decision making of not-for-profit organizations, we redirect a greater percentage of their annual donations from administrative and overhead costs to the actual causes they serve

[Press Release] The Poirier Group Commits to Support Vulnerable Communities in Collaboration with the Consumer Goods Forum

The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) has today announced its members are working together on actions to support vulnerable communities by providing in-kind consulting services to non-profit organizations. This is part of a coordinated, global response to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on those who have been hit hardest by the pandemic. 

The move, involving 45 CGF members from around the world, including some of the world’s biggest retailers and manufacturers, is a response to a CEO-led call to action for members to step up and act locally to help alleviate the health and economic burdens now being experienced by people globally.
