Vicki Jones brings 20+ years of corporate finance, strategic planning and operations expertise having worked both in public and private environments. She is a senior finance strategist with extensive experience in retail operations, financial accounting, best practice processes engineering, regulatory and financial reporting, taxation, internal controls and budgeting. Holding senior executive roles Vicki gained extensive knowledge of technology, human resources, operations, financial accounting and reporting, governance and team management. In addition to Vicki’s extensive background in finance, she also has outstanding problem-solving and communication skills and throughout her career has designed, implemented and executed numerous end-to-end process improvement strategies and efficiencies. She is also reputed as an approachable, hands on and motivational leader and has demonstrated team development skills. Her areas of knowledge range from financial services, technology and retail sectors.
It is important for me to be healthy, social and active in a wide variety of activities. I am active in many sports including pickleball, curling, skiing and golf, however, my first love is tennis. I took up tennis about 7 years ago and play 3 – 4 times per week and I am always working on improving my game. On my bucket list is to attend the French Open…some day! I was recently at Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California and took a pic there.
